Based on the competition-winning project, the first phase of housing will embody the principles of increased areas and volumes, internal adaptability, external extendibility, improved internal air quality, access to a Home Zone, innovative measures for parking and prefabrication. The architectural character that has evolved balances local history and the expression of innovation. This first phase of sustainable housing will be constructed quickly and to meet the English Partnerships sustainability targets for Millennium Communities.
